Set up

  1. Turn on Mac Mini
  2. Log into Logic/Livestream/Dante Mac Mini User (password:
  3. Open logic pro x and set up project
    1. Open last week’s church live stream mix
    2. File – Open Recent – Most recent date live stream mix (example of file name: “mm/dd/yy – Church Livestream Mix”)
    3. Close current project (pop up will appear to ask you this)
    4. Save on next pop up
  4. Create project file for the current week
    1. File – Save As… - Change date to current Sunday
    2. Save in folder: Documents -> Logic -> Sunday Livestream
  5. Turn on Record Enable on all channels
    1. On each channel, hit the Record Enable button (“R” on each channel)
    2. Select all at once by clicking on the first one and dragging straight down through all channels
    3. When selected they blink red
  6. Verify signal coming through channels
  7. Set up all channels for current week
  8. Match vocalist with current week’s singers
    1. Double click on name to change it
  9. Open Dante Virtual Soundcard
    1. Under settings tab double check the following settings:
    2. Audio Channels: 32x32
    3. Dante Latency: 10 ms
    4. Network Interface: en0
    5. Hit Start in bottom right corner to start Dante
  10. Open Dante Controller
    1. Correct audio paths should already be set up (if help is needed, ask someone for help)
    2. Check input and output on logic
  11. Back in Logic - Hit Logic Pro X on the top left corner – Preferences – Audio
    1. Select input and output device to Dante Virtual Soundcard
    2. Hit Apply

Shut down

  1. On computer with logic, click File > Save
  2. Close out of all windows
  3. Shutdown computer by hitting the Apple logo > Shut Down
