Set up
- Turn on Mac Mini
- Log into Logic/Livestream/Dante Mac Mini User (password:
- Open logic pro x and set up project
- Open last week’s church live stream mix
- File – Open Recent – Most recent date live stream mix (example of file name: “mm/dd/yy – Church Livestream Mix”)
- Close current project (pop up will appear to ask you this)
- Save on next pop up
- Create project file for the current week
- File – Save As… - Change date to current Sunday
- Save in folder: Documents -> Logic -> Sunday Livestream
- Turn on Record Enable on all channels
- On each channel, hit the Record Enable button (“R” on each channel)
- Select all at once by clicking on the first one and dragging straight down through all channels
- When selected they blink red
- Verify signal coming through channels
- Set up all channels for current week
- Match vocalist with current week’s singers
- Double click on name to change it
- Open Dante Virtual Soundcard
- Under settings tab double check the following settings:
- Audio Channels: 32x32
- Dante Latency: 10 ms
- Network Interface: en0
- Hit Start in bottom right corner to start Dante
- Open Dante Controller
- Correct audio paths should already be set up (if help is needed, ask someone for help)
- Check input and output on logic
- Back in Logic - Hit Logic Pro X on the top left corner – Preferences – Audio
- Select input and output device to Dante Virtual Soundcard
- Hit Apply
Shut down
- On computer with logic, click File > Save
- Close out of all windows
- Shutdown computer by hitting the Apple logo > Shut Down
