Role Overview

The Mobile Cam operator captures dynamic side-angle shots during worship and key moments of the service. This camera adds movement and variety to the livestream by getting angles the fixed cameras cannot capture. The role begins during rehearsal with equipment checks, practicing shots, and coordinating with the switcher. During the service, the operator moves quietly along the sides of the sanctuary capturing worship moments while staying out of the way of attendees. A successful Sunday means the camera is powered correctly, matches the look of the other cameras, provides clean side-angle shots during worship, and all gear is returned and charging after the service.
