In short, we made a small improvement to the mobile camera rig so that one battery powers everything

Most of what you do stays the same. This just simplifies power and charging so Sundays are easier.

What’s staying the same

• The mobile camera is still used the same way during the service.
• The wireless transmitter is still mounted to the camera and used the same way.
• The tally light still shows when your camera is live.
• You’ll still just turn the transmitter on and start shooting as usual.

What’s a little different now

• The rig now uses one V-Mount battery to power the camera, transmitter, and tally light.
• Instead of charging multiple things, we only charge the V-Mount battery.
• On Sunday, when you unplug the charger, you’ll plug the USB-C cable (for the tally light) back into the battery.
• Once that cable is plugged in, everything is powered and ready to go.
