Big picture
In short, we’re making a small change to how we operate the mobile camera by shooting handheld instead of using the monopod
Everything else about the role stays the same, this just makes moving around the room simpler and less distracting
What’s staying the same
- The mobile camera is still used to capture side angles during worship.
- You’ll still move around the sanctuary the same way to find good shots.
- The camera rig itself and how it operates stays the same.
- The goal is still steady, smooth shots during worship.
What’s a little different now
- We’re not using the monopod anymore. The camera will be operated handheld.
- You’ll notice the rig is smaller and easier to move with since you’re not carrying the stand.
- Holding the camera with both hands and keeping your elbows tucked in helps keep shots steady.
- You can also rest the battery against your chest to add an extra point of stability for smoother shots.
